Infra automation startup Enlite Research has secured INR 46 Cr (around $5.3 Mn) in a Series A funding round led by Avaana Capital, with participation from Claypond Capital.
The startup plans to deploy the fresh proceeds to expand into the Middle East and Southeast Asia markets, while deepening its presence in India.
Additionally, it is also looking to strengthen its footprint in the areas of smart airports, commercial real estate, data centres, pharmaceuticals, hospitality and public infrastructure.
The company also seeks to accelerate its edge AI and telemetry capabilities, enabling faster and adaptive decision-making at scale.
Enlite Research was founded by Gaurav Bali and Garima Bharadwaj in 2017. The startup offers plug-and-play automation system that replaces traditional control systems with compact wireless hardware, edge-based intelligence and AI-powered controls to make buildings and infrastructure respond in real time.
As per the company’s website, it claims to equip its clients with climate tech solutions to drive carbon neutrality and sustainability.
“This fundraise is not just capital infusion; it is a turning point to scale faster, deepen our tech, and take Enlite to the world,” Bali said.
The Mumbai-based startup is primarily addressing to eliminate the outdated and expensive building management system (BMS) and integrated building management system (IBMS) systems.
Currently, Enlite claims to be working with Prestige Group and Fairmont Mumbai, while also partnering with India’s top REITs, marquee GCC projects, hospital chains, among others.
