Muse Wearables, an IIT-Madras incubated startup, has partnered with NPCI to launch India’s first wearable payments ecosystem. Its smart ring, “Ring One,” enables instant RuPay-based payments via NFC without phones or cards. The Bengaluru-based firm aims to scale wearable payments nationwide using secure, tokenised technology built in India.
