Indian companies’ pushback against Google’s ad policy is finally working. In a series of interim judgments, the Delhi High Court said earlier this year that the use of trademarked words for bidding in ad programme could amount to trademark infringement. Though yet to be made into a law, the landmark judgment can have an impact on Google’s ad business.
