Bengaluru-based spacetech startup SatSure has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with spacetech solution startup Dhruva Space to offer end-to-end earth observation-as-a-service (EOaaS) solutions.
Under this partnership, SatSure’s subsidiary KaleidEO’s analytical solutions will combine with Dhruva’s capabilities in small satellite platforms, critical subsystems and system integration.
This partnership aims at providing solutions for both strategic (defence and government) and commercial sectors, including agriculture, energy and aviation, which require earth observation data.
Founded in 2017 by Prateep Basu, Rashmit Singh Sukhmani and Abhishek Raju, SatSure uses satellite data to offer ‘decision intelligence’ across BFSI, agriculture, and infrastructure sectors. The startup combines satellite imagery with weather, IoT, social and economic datasets, among many others to generate insights.
“This partnership is poised to boost our sovereign EO capabilities and create a complete package for end customers who need both high-quality data and end-to-end solutions,” Basu said.
Dhruva was founded in 2012 by Sanjay Nekkanti. It offers integrated solutions such as launch services as well as access to owning and operating space-based assets. The startup launched an independently constructed satellite deployment system that is compatible with the PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) launch vehicle in 2023.
