Fintech focussed-SaaS startup Bluecopa has bagged $7.5 Mn (INR 67.6 Cr) in its Series A funding round led by Singapore-based venture capital (VC) firm Analog Partners. Existing VC firms Blume Ventures and Dallas Venture Capital also participated in the round.
The startup plans to utilise the fresh capital to accelerate product development and deepen its presence across APAC, North America, and the Middle East.
“We will expand our AI-native finance operations platform with autonomous agents across monthly financial close, reconciliations, AR/AP, and controls,” Bluecopa’s cofounder and CEO Satya Prakash Buddhavarapu told Inc42.
Founded in 2021 by Buddhavarapu, Raghavendra Reddy, and Nilotpal Chanda, Bluecopa offers a cloud-native platform that leverages AI to provide a unified solution for finance teams, streamlining operations and improving efficiency. Its solutions cater to finance teams for businesses across industries like ecommerce, financial services, travel, logistics and gaming.
“We’re building specialised foundation models so every finance leader has an AI-native platform that doesn’t just automate tasks but fundamentally reimagines how financial operations should work,” Buddhavarapu added.
Since inception, the startup has raised $11.6 Mn across multiple rounds including the current round, from investors like Venture Catalysts, Titan Capital, Speciale Invest, and Bharat Founders Fund.
Featured in Inc42’s 30 Startups To Watch in September 2024, Bluecopa competes with brands like Tally Solutions, Zoho Finance Plus, Razorpay, and Clear in the finance operations automation sector.
The development comes at a time when the global FinOps market valued at over $40 Bn in 2024, is projected to grow at a CAGR of 14.2% by 2032, according to Global Market Insights report.
