AI-native martech startup Fibr AI has raised $5.7 Mn (about INR 52 Cr) in a seed funding round led by existing investor Accel. Other investors that backed the startup included WillowTree Ventures and MVP Ventures, along with several other angel investors.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its AI and product capabilities, expand its customer base and hire across roles like engineering, product, marketing and sales.
Founded in 2023 by Ankur Goyal and Pritam Roy, Fibr builds AI-powered marketing and web experience tools for brands. The startup focusses on helping businesses reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC) and improve conversion rates by making websites and landing pages more personalised and adaptive to user intent.
Fibr’s flagship product, Pilot, allows its clients to create personalised landing pages for campaigns run across ads, emails and SMS. Another product, Blocks, helps marketers reuse and adapt existing content across formats, such as converting a high-performing Facebook ad into a blog post or a Google search ad.
Over time, Fibr has expanded its product into what it describes as an “agentic web experience layer”, where businesses can respond to users online in real time based on their context.
The Dover-based startup primarily serves customers in North America, Canada and India. Since its beta launch, it claims to have onboarded several clients, including ACT Fibernet, Star Health among multiple other D2C brands. In the broader market, it competes with global martech players such as Instapage, Unbounce and Leadpages.
With this round, Fibr’s total funding has reached $7.5 Mn. This includes a $1.8 Mn pre-seed round raised in July 2024, which was also led by Accel and saw participation from 2AM VC, along with angel investors Kunal Shah of CRED and former Zenoti cofounder Sunil Kumar.
Fibr’s positioning around an “agentic web experience layer” comes amid a broader shift in India’s tech ecosystem towards agentic AI, which moved from experimentation to real-world adoption over the past year.
As enterprises across sectors increasingly deploy AI agents that can act autonomously, respond to context and execute multi-step workflows, the investor attention in this space has seen a renewed interest.
According to Inc42’s Bharat AI Startups Report, Indian AI startups have raised over $1.8 Bn since 2020. Nearly 86% of this funding has been directed at the application layer, with investors preferring to back them over businesses working in the AI infrastructure sub-segment.
